Using Lexile Text Analyzer Content Creator
The Content Creator dashboard allows organization administrators and users to view the documents they have analyzed using the Lexile® Text Analyzer Content Creator.
Creating a New Document
Use Content Creator to receive a Lexile range for a text. View text characteristics along with challenging words and their definitions. Content can be typed or pasted within the textbox for analysis, or you can upload a file. Before analyzing, you should review our editing guidelines to ensure accuracy from the Lexile Analyzer. Access to measuring Spanish content is an add-on feature.

  - About the Lexile Text Analyzer Content Creator
    Lexile® Text Analyzer Content Creator is a powerful text analyzer that provides recognized Lexile measures and the power to align content as you go. This takes the guesswork out of content creation, streamlining the production of learning materials for students at every level.
  - Using Lexile Text Analyzer Content Creator
    The Content Creator dashboard allows organization administrators and users to view the documents they have analyzed using the Lexile® Text Analyzer Content Creator.

        Successful measurement will result in the following metrics:
      - Viewing History
        Click on any previous version to view and restore past versions of any documents in the History section. Selecting a previous document's version within the document history reverts to a previous version for modification and analysis.

    - Instant Certification
      Instant Certification is an optional feature that may be enabled for your organization. With the instant certification feature, content that has been finalized when the Lexile® Text Analyzer Content Creator can be instantly certified, bypassing the need to submit the content to Metametrics for verification.

Viewing Metadata

Metadata from your results include:

ISBN - International Standard Book Number (ISBN) for the book in ISBN-13 format.
Author - First and last name of who wrote the text.
Publisher - The company that published the text.
Series - Whether the text is part of a series.
Copyright - Year the text was published.
Page Count - The number of pages analyzed.
Min Age - The youngest reader age this text is appropriate for.
Max Age - If the text is meant for an age range, you can include the oldest age this text is appropriate for.
Fiction/Non-Fiction - Determines if the text is Fiction or Non-Fiction.
