Sequence Tab Label Definitions

The parameters of the fields on the Sequences tab are described below:

Field Description
QSCID This field indicates the ID number of the QSC.
Grade This field indicates the intended grade (or grade range) that the partner has assigned to the math content.
Sequence ID Each sequence has a unique ID value. Each ID is a 3-digit number.
Sequence Level The QSCs in each sequence are ordered with level 1 representing the most mathematically demanding QSC with the highest Quantile measure and progress backwards through prerequisite skills while increasing the index number. The highest sequence level indicates the most basic prerequisite with the lowest Quantile measure in the sequence.
QSC Description This field contains the text description of the QSC. In cases where no math content is listed at a level of a sequence, this QSC description helps to identify content of potential new resources.
Partner Math Content ID This contains the math content ID number.
Partner Math Content Title This field contains the math content title. In this column, the text “Opportunity for Additional Content” indicates that no math content aligns to the specific QSC in the sequence.
Focus or Related This field indicates how closely the math content is related to the particular QSC in the sequence. Focus indicates that the math content associated with this QSC in the sequence has a primary focus on the content of this QSC. Related indicates that the math content includes some content related to the QSC and additional unrelated content.
Quantile Range Minimum This field indicates the minimum suggested Quantile measure for students assigned to the math content. Students with a Quantile measure lower than this value should consider math content further down in the sequence as a more fruitful starting point.
Quantile Range Maximum This field indicates the maximum suggested Quantile measure for students assigned to the math content. Students with a Quantile measure higher than this value should consider math content higher up in the sequence as an extension of the assigned math content.
